Lucy Blake-Elahi is a Los Angeles Artist living and working in the LAX-adjacent area. She works out of a large in-home studio. She is a graduate of Pratt Institute, Brooklyn and State University of New York, New Paltz. She has been an art instructor at UCLA’s Graduate Art Education Department, the LA Unified School System, West Los Angeles College, Culver City and was an artist-in-residence in Yellowstone National Park for three summers.
Since 1990 she has completed many public art commissions in the Los Angeles area, taught sundial workshops at the Skirball Museum, L.A. and Sun City, Idaho, and is active in Southern California environmental watershed issues.
Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Los Angeles, New York, and Switzerland and in many corporate, private and public collections such as Gibraltar Savings and Loan, and the Aaron Spelling Collection. |
